The Maneki-neko is also known as the welcoming cat, money cat, happy cat or beckoning cat. It is believed to bring good luck and fortune. The image dates back to 17th century Japan.

Bonus! Every kit comes with a grab bag with bits of wool so you can customize your patch with different colors (grab bag colors will vary).

What’s in the kit?

Your purchase comes with a kit that includes everything you'll need to make one patch.

Kit includes:

• Needle felting foam pad

• 2 felting needles

• White felt with traced outline

• Printed template

• White, blue, yellow, pink, red and black wool roving

• Bonus! Your kit comes with a small grab bag with bits of wool in different colors. Use them to personalize your lucky cat. The colors you receive in the grab bag will vary from those shown in the picture.

The only thing you'll need to provide are scissors. The needle felting foam pad and needles can be used for future projects. The finished patch measures approximately 6” x 4.75”.
